My Current Everyday Spring Makeup Look

Hey guys,
This is actually my first makeup look post where I actually show my face, so this is super exciting,
This is also the first blog post using my new camera!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it

Let's get onto how I got this look!

First up prepping my skin,

So, after cleansing I always apply my E45 moisturiser, Benefit It's Potent eye cream (I've just run out though) and then my Benefit That Gal primer,
I forgot to mention at this point I will usually apply some lip balm too

Prepped and primed

Once my skin is all prepped and primed I actually currently start with my eye makeup,

First I prime my eyes with the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer (Shade: Cool Medium),
I'm just not a huge fan of the eye primers I've tried, I much prefer a concealer
I simply apply it on my lids with the wand and then blend with my finger
I then powder my eyes before beginning the eye shadow

Once my eyes are primed I am currently loving the Urban Decay Naked palette for my eye shadow,
Well I say currently, I've been loving it since last year haha
I use the Real Techniques Base Shadow brush to apply my eye shadows,

(I'll star each shade as I mention it)

The first shade I use is the shade Naked,

I apply this just in my crease as a transition shade for the rest of the look

The next shade is Sidecar,

I apply this all over my lid, although instead of applying it like you would normally apply eye shadow, I actually pat it onto the lid, I just find it applies better this way,

The next shade is Sin,
This was one of the first shades I ever used out of this palette,

I use my little finger to apply this to the inner 3rd of my eye,
This just brightens up the look a little,
Sometimes though I will use my Real Techniques brush I mentioned before to apply a little more or blend it

The final shade I apply to my lid is Smog,
This gives a more smoked out look to this look which I love,

I use my Real Techniques Base Shadow brush again here to apply Smog to my outer v and crease,
I then sometimes take a little more Sidecar and pat it onto the centre of my lid as it sometimes isn't as visible after applying the other shades

And then finally for eye shadow I take the shade Virgin,

I then use the same brush, I really need some more fluffy eye brushes so that I'm not using the same one for everything haha, and I apply Virgin on my brow bone
I feel like this just finishes the shadow and cleans up anywhere near my brow bone that is a little too dark

Finished shadow

Moving away from the eyes for now (We'll come back to them soon),
Now onto my base makeup,

I currently don't wear foundation, just concealer, simply because I ran out of foundation a while ago and just didn't get a new one haha,
I do want to start wearing it again soon though,

Anyway, I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer (Shade: Ivory)
I do this in a way kind of like foundation I guess,
I apply it under my eyes first and then blend with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge,
I then apply it down the bridge of my nose and around the nose, then blend again,
Then I apply it to my chin and right side of my face (cheek etc) and blend again, lots of blending haha,
Then I apply it to the left side of my face and blend and then finally the forehead and blend again haha
I don't normally take it down my neck but now we're into spring I feel like I should since more of my neck is on show than winter haha
So for the sake of this post I did blend down my neck haha

Then I set my face with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder (Shade: Transparent) using the Real Techniques Powder brush, although when it comes to setting under the eyes I use the Real Techniques Blush brush as I find it gets under the eyes easier

After concealer etc

Moving onto bronzer etc adding a bit of colour back into my face,

I use the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, I feel like this is a pretty popular choice, I just love it so much haha,
I apply this under my cheekbones and up to my temples etc with the Real Techniques Powder brush,
I also apply it along my jawline and down my neck

For blush I also use Benefit, I use the Benefit Dandelion blush,
This blush is so natural looking,
I apply this onto my cheeks with the Real Techniques Blush brush
I then use the powder brush to blend everything so there no harsh lines between the blush and bronzer

After blush and bronzer

Next is, I think, everyone's favourite part, HIGHLIGHT,
I love a good highlight,
This one is from the Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar so I'm not sure if it's available or not, (Shade: Rejuvenate)

I apply this with an angled blush brush, using the tip of the angled part,

After highlight

Now moving back to the eyes to finish them off,

I now use the Primark PS Higlighter Stick (Shade: Champagne Glow),
I got this last year so I don't think you can get this any more,

But anyway, I apply this to the inner corners of my eyes to brighten the look even more

Then finally I apply Benefit's Bad Gal Bang mascara, this is by far my favourite mascara at the moment, it makes the lashes look amazing,

Finished eyes after mascara etc

And finally for this look, the lips!
My current spring shade is the Autumn Lip Kit by Kylie Cosmetics,
I got this last October when the Fall collection came out and I love it so much

Sometimes I will re apply my lip balm before lip stick if my lips feel like they are drying again,
I line my lips with the liner first and then fill it in with the liquid lip stick
I feel like this could be classed as a dark nude so I think it's perfect for spring haha and it stays on really well, so well I've had my Nana asking how I keep my lip stick on so long haha

Finished look!

And that's the finished look!

I feel like this post was kind of long, but I hope you enjoyed it,
I will link all of the makeup products that I can now: (For Benefit I've tagged travel size as that's what I use)

That's all for this post,
I hope you enjoyed this different kind of post from me,
Let me know your go to spring look in the comments, what kind of look do you like best?
Also I'd love to know if you read my last post celebrating my blog turning one! (If you haven't seen it you can find it here)
